THEFT OFFENSES

CONTACT US AT 703.542.4500
The crime of theft generally means taking of a person's property without their permission.  Theft charges can range anywhere from the shoplifting of a candy bar from a convenience store to an armed bank robbery or burglary of one's home. The key questions in all theft cases are: (1) How was the property was allegedly stolen; and (2) How much the property was actually worth. This determines the category and/or degree of theft charges that an accused could face.  Our office can assist those charged with the entire range of theft related crimes and we urge you to contact us if you or a loved one has been charged with a theft crime in Virginia so that we can begin preparing our defense as soon as possible.
